Students who meet the general requirements for access to the University may apply to the Degree in Psychology, namely:
- Holding a secondary school degree or legally equivalent qualification;
- Having passed the entrance exams (Biology and Geology, Philosophy or Portuguese).
Under the provisions of Decree-Law 64/2006, of March 21, applicants over the age of 23 may also apply to the course: those who have completed their secondary education up to December 31 preceding the one they are applying for, and who, not being holders of higher education access qualifications, prove their capacity to attend it (specific regulations). Degree holders may also apply, provided they can prove their knowledge in a specific area.
Students must show interest in the scientific content in this area, as well as sensitivity to knowledge of a cultural and social nature, and an adequate capacity for oral and written expression.
