The Portuguese Journal of Philosophy (RPF), published by the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University - Braga, has reached the 2nd Quartile (Q2) in the international Scopus database for the first time.

This distinction places RPF among the 26% to 50% of scientific journals with the best performance in citations and prestige in its area of research, according to the CiteScore/SJR metrics used by Scopus.

Entering Q2 significantly strengthens RPF's international reputation, as it demonstrates that the articles published have an impact similar to those of the best international publications, increasing its reputation among researchers, institutions and evaluation bodies.

This result reflects the strategy defined and implemented by the Journal's previous boards and consolidated by the current board.
