On June 18 and 19, the Catholic University of Braga hosted the 5th Cycle of the Psychology Research Seminar at the Praça da Faculdade Building, an initiative organized as part of the bachelor’s degree program in Psychology.

The event served as a public presentation of the research projects developed by third-year students as part of the Psychology Research Seminar course. Through panel and poster presentations, the students presented and discussed the empirical studies they had conducted throughout the academic year, thereby highlighting their journey into scientific research.

Throughout the various sessions, different areas of psychology were addressed, covering topics such as digital burnout, sports psychology, phubbing, migration, family, mental health, sleep, career development, emotional intelligence, childhood trauma, and academic success, among others.

The presentations included the participation of faculty members and advisors, who contributed to the scientific debate, knowledge sharing, and the development of fundamental skills for the students’ academic and scientific training.

The event was free and open to the public, with no registration required, and was open to the internal community of the Catholic University of Braga.

An additional session is also scheduled for July 13, dedicated to the presentation of posters related to the July session.
