On 5 and 6 June, the 3rd International Seminar on the Prevention of Violence against the Elderly was held in Brazil.
The opening session was given by Eduardo Duque, a lecturer at the Faculty of Theology, who presented a conference on "The Importance of Intergenerationality in Building a Fairer and More Inclusive Society".
Filomena Ponte, a lecturer at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences, took part as a panellist in the panel on "Mental Health of the Elderly: From Emotional Intelligence to Artificial Intelligence", and reflected on the theme of "Functionality of Neurodivergent Elderly People: Emotions, Vulnerability and Resilience".
