The Portuguese Catholic University – Braga announces that the application deadlines for the Directorate-General for Higher Education (DGES) scholarships for the 2026/2027 academic year have been updated, following the publication of Order No. 7994/2026.

According to the new schedule, the regular application period runs from August 14 to October 2, 2026. Students who register by October 2 will always have 20 business days to submit their application, even if that deadline falls after that date.

Applications submitted between October 3, 2026, and May 31, 2027, may also be considered. In such cases, the scholarship may be awarded, with the amount calculated proportionally based on the remaining portion of the academic year.

Applications must be submitted through the BeOn platform, accessible via the DGES portal. Students who have never applied for a scholarship must request their login credentials from the Student Support Office (GAA) at the time of registration. Students who have applied in previous academic years may use the same login credentials, as these remain active in their personal account.

Católica Braga recommends that all eligible students submit their applications within the regular application period to ensure that the scholarship is awarded at the start of the academic year.
