The Portuguese Catholic University has opened pre-selection applications for the 6th edition of the ‘Summer School European Humanism in the Making’, organised by the Federation of European Catholic Universities (FUCE). Under the motto ‘Populism Remaking European Humanism?’, the event will take place at the Université Catholique de Lille, France, from 30 June to 4 July 2025.
Católica will pre-select a maximum of 3 students to take part in this Summer School. Those interested should send their application by 24 January to global.engagement@ucp.pt, which should include:
- Motivation letter (in English);
- CV (in English);
- Curriculum vitae;
- Completed application form.
This pre-selection will also include an interview in English for the students ranked in the top 5, which will take place at the beginning of February.
Eligible students must be in the 2nd or 3rd year of a 1st cycle course, with a level of English equivalent to or higher than B2, to be verified during the interview.
Participants in this Summer School will have access to an Erasmus mobility grant - BIP (Blended Intensive Programme) worth €79/day for accommodation and meals + €309 for travel, which must be covered by the students who are selected. Other expenses will be borne by the participant.
