Tuesday, April 21, 2026 - 16:06
From June 30 to July 5, the Social Transformation Workshop, an immersive bootcamp organized by Scholas Occurrentes, will take place on Terceira Island (Azores).

The initiative is aimed at college students and offers a five-day intensive program focused on building connections, fostering creativity, and fostering a commitment to the community. The program brings together participants from different regions of the country with the goal of promoting dialogue, sharing experiences, and collaboratively developing solutions to specific social challenges.

During the bootcamp, participants will have the opportunity to work directly with the local community on Terceira Island and engage with different groups, including children, vulnerable youth, and the elderly. Using participatory methodologies based on art, play, and creative thinking, the initiative aims to foster processes of personal and social transformation.

According to the organization, this experience aims to provide a truly immersive environment that challenges participants to step outside their usual routine and develop personal, social, and interpersonal skills in a collaborative learning environment.

Applications will be accepted until May 7, and there are only five spots available. The selection process includes an interview with the Scholas team.

The cost of participation is 30 euros, which includes flights, accommodation, meals, and the organization of all activities.
